Front Illuminated

Channel Letters

Front-Lit Channel Letter Signs are the most common type of channel letter in use today. Its main body is comprised of a .050 or .063 aluminum back and .040 aluminum returns (sides).

After assembly, the inside of the main body is painted white to maximize the effect of the LED lighting to be installed within. Once complete, these can be remotely installed directly to the wall with the electrical components hidden in the crawlspace.

If access isn’t available, the letters can be mounted to a raceway, concealing the power supply and wiring.

Front And Back Illuminated

Channel Letters

Dual Lit Channel Letters. The sign industry is no stranger to advancements in technology. In a world of constant “one-upmanship” when trying to make a branding impact, the Dual Lit Channel Letter is the latest design to come along.

The exterior is painted to the color specified at the time of the order and print can be added to the face to achieve any colors or gradients not available in a standard acrylic. Once complete, these can be remotely installed onto a wall with Aluminum Standoffs, typically 2″, placed between the back of each letter and the wall.

Once lighted, the back glow works to accents the front illumination, giving the sign a “floating” look. The end result is an eye-catching sign that is bright, legible, and different from the others on the landscape.

Reverse Lit

Channel Letters

Reverse Lit Channel Letter Signs are becoming more popular as many high-end, new construction leases call for this aesthetically appealing design. The main body of this design is comprised of a .090 aluminum face and .050 aluminum returns (sides).

After assembly, the inside of the main body is painted white to maximize the effect of the LED lighting to be installed within. Additionally, the exterior is painted to the color specified at the time of the order, or vinyl is applied to achieve the desired look.

The back of the Reverse Illuminated Channel Letter is made of clear 1/4″ polycarbonate, which is strong enough to support the weight of the main body and LED lighting using angled clips and matching screws.
